ArmInfo. The lawyer for Ludwig Mkrtchyan, an Armenian prisoner of war who has been held captive in Baku for 5.5 years, has publicly appealed to Azerbaijani  President Ilham Aliyev, requesting that Mkrtchyan be allowed to  contact his wife.

ArmInfo.On 24 July 2026, during the 106^th plenary meeting of the 80^th session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Resolution entitled “Year of International Law, 2028”, initiated by Turkmenistan, was adopted by consensus.

Garnik Danielyan, a member of parliament of the 8th convocation from the opposition "Armenia" faction, stated this in a conversation with journalists on July 24 outside the building of  the Investigative Department of the State Revenue Committee of  Armenia, where Gagik Tsarukyan, leader of the Prosperous Armenia  Party, is being interrogated.

Brad Sherman (D-CA) with the support of Committee Chairman Brian  Mast (R-FL), builds on its favorable consideration by the Committee  on June 10.
