


ArmInfo.On February 24, Artur Poghosyan,the Chairman of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Republic of Armenia, received Bolat Imanbayev, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Armenia.
According to the press service of the Committee, Artur Poghosyan noted with satisfaction that, as part of the effective cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries, mutual legal inquiries are being duly fulfilled.
In turn, the Ambassador expressed gratitude to the head of the IC for the daily work carried out between the two law enforcement agencies, emphasizing that close cooperation protects the legitimate interests and rights of Kazakhstani citizens and ensures prompt resolution of various issues. "At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties acknowledged that through joint efforts they can enhance international legal cooperation in criminal proceedings initiated in Armenia and Kazakhstan, particularly in combating transnational crime, corruption and economic crimes, as well as crimes involving information technology," the Investigative Committee's statement reads.
