Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism to support reconstruction of  19th-century Armenian church Srbots Karasun Manouk

ArmInfo.  The Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism will support the reconstruction of  the 19th-century Armenian church "Srbots Karasun Manouk," located in  the Iskenderun district. This was announced by Archbishop Sahak  Mashalyan, Patriarch of the Armenian Apostolic Church of  Constantinople, on January 6 during a meeting with community  representatives. The church was damaged during the earthquake of  February 6, 2023.

According to the Armenian Patriarchate of Constantinople, during the  meeting, Mashalyan announced that, with the support of the same  ministry, a gala evening in honor of opera singer Alice Manoukian  will be held in the coming days.
