


ArmInfo. The Ministry of Environment of Armenia calls on citizens to avoid being in the sun during the daytime due to increased levels of ultraviolet radiation.
"In the Ararat Valley and Syunik region, as well as in Yerevan, on July 29 and 30, the ultraviolet radiation index will exceed the norm," the press service of the Ministry of Environment of Armenia said in a statement.
In this regard, the ministry called on citizens to avoid being in direct sunlight from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm on these two days.
Earlier the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia reported an increase in temperature from July 28 to August 2 in the Ararat Valley, the foothills of Vayots Dzor, as well as in the valleys of the Syunik region and in Yerevan, due to the penetration of tropical warm air from the south.
