Peskov describes Armenia`s pivot toward EU as understandable and  transparent

ArmInfo. There is no lack of  ambiguity regarding Armenia's move toward the European Union; everything is clear and transparent. Russian presidential press  secretary Dmitry Peskov made this statement during a briefing, as  reported by Interfax.

"While moving toward the European Union—which is a sovereign right of  Armenia—Armenia cannot and should not do so at the expense of the  finances of the EAEU member states; it must do so at its own  expense.... Everything is understandable, transparent, and clear.  There is no ambiguity whatsoever," Peskov said. 

Following the Astana summit on May 29, the leaders of the EAEU  countries adopted a statement on Armenia's continued participation in  the community. It was handed over to Deputy Prime Minister Mher  Grigoryan.
