David Ghazinyan: In `bastion of democracy,` even large-scale fraud  won`t save them from defeat

ArmInfo. Representatives of a small group of individuals, finally realizing their inevitable defeat in the parliamentary elections, have once again spread disinformation that Narek Karapetyan is a citizen of the Russian Federation. This was written on his Facebook page by David Ghazinyan, former acting  general director of Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC and a member of  the Strong Armenia party board.

"In the 'bastion of democracy,' even this massive falsification won't save them from defeat. Narek Karapetyan is a citizen of only the Republic of Armenia. There will be a 'Strong Armenia' regardless," wrote David Kazinyan.

Earlier, the Latvian website Insider circulated information that the  leader of the Strong Armenia party, Samvel Karapetyan, is allegedly  an agent of the Russian FSB, and that Narek Karapetyan holds Russian  citizenship. Both figures denied these claims, yet the government's  propaganda machine continues to circulate this news. Furthermore, the  Investigative Committee of Armenia has opened a criminal case for  Narek Karapetyan's concealment of dual citizenship. Furthermore, the  Central Election Commission of Armenia stated that it had verified  Narek Karapetyan's background and found that he does not hold dual  citizenship.
