Azerbaijan is not a state capable of dictating Israel's domestic political agenda. This is how former Armenian parliament member Arman Abovyan commented on reports that Israel suspended the process of recognizing the Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire after pressure from Azerbaijan.  

ArmInfo. On July 17, 2026, early in the morning, the head of state arrived at Heroes' Square in Tbilisi. A guard of honor lined up there.

ArmInfo.  Vardan Hakobyan, former conductor of the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra, conductor of the Shen Yun Performing Arts orchestra, and founder and artistic  director of the CADENZA soloists' ensemble, has put up for auction a  painting depicting the "We Are Our Mountains"  ("Grandmother-Grandfather") monument in Artsakh, removed from the  exhibition pavilion of the Yerevan Ter-Ghevondyan Music School.

ArmInfo.The situation in the South Caucasus is set to be one of the key items on the agenda during talks between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Azerbaijani counterpart, Jeyhun Bayramov. Lavrov announced this as he opened negotiations with the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, who has  arrived in Moscow for an official visit.

ArmInfo.The European Union is not exerting sufficient pressure on Azerbaijan to secure the release of Armenian captives, as stated by Armen Ishkhanyan, son of  the former Chairman of the National Assembly of Artsakh, David  Ishkhanyan, during a conference in Brussels titled " Armenian  Prisoners in Azerbaijan and the Imperative of European Union  Engagement".

ArmInfo.    There is a growing risk of scam calls targeting the most vulnerable category of citizens -pensioners. The scheme relies on social engineering: criminals simulate calls from an official agency or companies managing pension savings, and under the pretext of an "accounting error", they attempt to gain access to the victims' money.

ArmInfo. The leader of the "Prosperous Armenia" party, businessman Gagik Tsarukyan, whose house had been searched since early morning, has been detained, and a motion for his arrest will be filed with the court. This was announced on July 6 by one of his lawyers, Yerem Sargsyan, while speaking to journalists in front of the businessman's house.

ArmInfo.  Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is using every possible means to find loopholes to  return Armenian products to the Russian market. Artak Zakaryan, a  member of the board of the Republican Party, writes about this in his  article.

ArmInfo.  Alen Simonyan, Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, announced that he does not intend to accept a parliamentary mandate or serve in the 9th convocation of  the parliament. He made this statement on July 2 in a conversation  with journalists in parliament, asking whether he intended to  relinquish his parliamentary mandate given his failure to be  re-elected as Speaker of the Armenian Parliament.

ArmInfo. Armenia is currently not conducting any negotiations with Russia on the TRIPP project. Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mnatsakan Safaryan  stated this in a conversation with journalists on July 1.

ArmInfo.Brussels ignored mass arrests, attacks on the Church, and electoral fraud to back Armenian PM, international lawyer Robert Amsterdam wrote in a Facebook post. 

ArmInfo.Coordinated opposition actions to neutralize RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's goals and bring about the release of illegally detained individuals are vital for the release of political prisoners.

ArmInfo.  Robert Kocharyan, leader of the "Armenia" bloc, and Samvel Karapetyan, leader of the "Strong Armenia" bloc, haven't met yet, but they will if necessary. Levon Kocharyan, a member of the "Armenia" faction and son of Armenia's second president, stated this in a conversation with journalists,  while discussing the current status of the opposition's negotiations.

ArmInfo. The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) ruling on cases related to the four-day April 2016 war is important because it could prevent Azerbaijan from legitimizing the crimes committed during its military aggression.

ArmInfo. Armenia's second president, leader of the Armenia bloc, Robert Kocharyan, believes that the hastily launched case against him, which he called simply absurd, was necessary to ban him from leaving the country. He stated this in an interview with the media.

ArmInfo.  The adoption of a new Constitution of Armenia has been on our agenda since 2019 and will remain there. Artur Hovhannisyan, secretary of the ruling Civil  Contract faction, stated this during a briefing in the Armenian  parliament, when asked whether it was true that some within the  political party were dissatisfied with not having secured a  constitutional majority.

ArmInfo.Europe and the United States benefit from maintaining a weak and illegitimate leader in Armenia, as they want the country to become a new anti-Russian stronghold.

ArmInfo.  The charges brought against the second President of Armenia and leader of the "Armenia" bloc, Robert Kocharyan, are politically motivated and linked to  ongoing political processes in the country. This was stated by his  lawyer, Aram Orbelyan, in an interview with journalists outside the  Central Election Commission (CEC), where the issue of stripping  Kocharyan of his immunity is currently being considered.

ArmInfo.  Supporters of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) held a protest outside the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) over over what they termed the "theft of votes" required for the political force to enter parliament. They are  demanding the Commission restore justice and hold a repeat vote  at  those polling stations where the results were previously annulled.

ArmInfo. Narek Karapetyan, a member of the board of the "Strong Armenia" bloc, was prevented from leaving Armenia. He announced this on his Facebook page.  Karapetyan explained that today, together with a film crew from the Armat Media website, he was supposed to be on the Georgian military road leading  to Russia, better known as "Upper Lars," and go live from there.
