ArmInfo.The core issue with the speech of the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament of the 9th convocation, Ruben Rubinyan, to the new National Assembly lies in his one-sided interpretation of the causes of the political crisis.  Analyst Tigran Dumikyan expressed this opinion on his Facebook page.

He made this statement on July 2 in a conversation  with journalists in parliament, asking whether he intended to  relinquish his parliamentary mandate given his failure to be  re-elected as Speaker of the Armenian Parliament.

"The court applied administrative supervision as a preventive measure, prohibiting  Vazgen from making public appearances," Babayan wrote on Facebook.

ArmInfo.  Samvel Karapetyan, leader of the Strong Armenia party, has filed a lawsuit against Alen Simonyan, the speaker of the Armenian parliament, demanding 6 million  drams in compensation for defamation.

He expressed  this opinion in a conversation with a journalist, , Simonyan  dismissed the notion that Armenia is wavering between the Eurasian  Economic Union (EAEU) and the European Union, asserting that the  government's position remains clear.

ArmInfo.  Armenia should not worry about upsetting Russia while protecting its interests, as stated by Alen Simonyan, Speaker of the Armenian Parliament,  during  a briefing on May 6. He was responding to journalists' questions  regarding potential damage to Armenian- Russian relations following  recent statements made by European leaders in Yerevan.  He referred  to the mirror approach, noting that when Russia pursues its own  interests, it does not care whether Armenia's interests are  undermined.
