ArmInfo. The Armenian authorities repeatedly demonstrate foolishness in a matter that is  crucial for the country. Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi, who serves  as the chief aide to Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei for  Armed Forces Affairs, has made a very important statement regarding  this issue. Essentially, he accused the Armenian side of falsifying  Iran's stance on TRIPP. Levon Zurabyan, Deputy Chairman of the  Armenian National Congress, wrote this on his Facebook page.

ArmInfo. "Contrary to the Armenian side's claims, we have not reached any preliminary agreements with Armenia regarding the TRIPP project," stated Iranian Major General Rahim  Safavi, when commenting on the situation surrounding the TRIPP  project and negotiations with Armenia, as reported by the Telegram  channel "Lord of War." 

ArmInfo. The TRIPP project through Syunik limits Armenia's sovereignty, as stated by Ishkhan Saghatelyan, a member of the National Assembly of the  Republic of Armenia from the opposition Armenia faction and a representative of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun party. 

ArmInfo.  Acting Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan, who is on a working  visit to Washington, met with representatives of leading American  think tanks.

ArmInfo. On the occasion of the first anniversary of the White House Peace Summit, a  meeting was held in Washington between Vahan Kostanyan, Acting Deputy  Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Elnur  Mammadov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of  Azerbaijan, and Allison Hooker, U.S. Under Secretary of State for  Political Affairs.

ArmInfo.It cannot be ruled out that after January 2029, Azerbaijan might resort to military blackmail against Armenia,  as stated by Beniamin Poghosyan,  a senior researcher at the APRI Armenia think tank, on August 11 during discussions dedicated to the anniversary of the signing of the Washington  agreements.

ArmInfo.  Over the past year, the authorities of Armenia and Azerbaijan have taken important and bold steps to make peace tangible for their peoples.

ArmInfo. Not all the problems have been resolved yet, but peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan has been established. This message was issued by Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Ruben Rubinyan on his Facebook page on August 8, the day the joint "Declaration of Peace" between Armenia and Azerbaijan was signed in Washington.

ArmInfo. The Hay Dat Committee condemned the signal from the US President Donald Trump's administration of its intention to circumvent the decision to impose sanctions against Baku, which would pave the way for continued American aid to Azerbaijan. ArmInfo. American author and essayist Nassim Nicholas Taleb, best known for his international bestseller The Black Swan, has declined an invitation to lecture in  Azerbaijan. Taleb stated that he refuses to travel to the country  while renowned philanthropist, intellectual, and former Artsakh State  Minister Ruben Vardanyan remains imprisoned.

ArmInfo.  During a meeting with Armenian Interior Minister Arpine Sargsyan, U.S. Charge  d'Affaires David Allen reaffirmed the U.S. side's readiness to  continue supporting initiatives aimed at developing the country's  cybersecurity capacity.  According to the Armenian Interior  Ministry's press service, the parties discussed legislative changes  in cybersecurity and opportunities for developing professional  skills. It was noted that the procurement process to replenish  the  cyber laboratory with the support of American partners, is nearing  completion.
