Prime Minister touring Armavir region to familiarize himself with   programs being implemented

ArmInfo. On April 3, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan visited the Armavir region of the Republic, where he familiarized himself with the programs being implemented.

According to the PM's Office, the Prime Minister's first stop was  Kindergarten No. 6 "Arevik" in the village of Echmiadzin in the  Vagharshapat community. As a result of the subsidy program, the  kindergarten building was completely renovated, and construction work  was carried out on a new three-story building.  The total cost of  construction was 734 million drams, with over 513 million drams   allocated by the government. The kindergarten is attended by 294  children. The Prime Minister then inspected the renovation work at  the secondary school in the village of Araks in the enlarged  community of Metsamor.  As a result of the program, the village now  has a renovated school for 188 children. The government has allocated  over 190 million drams for this program.

In the enlarged community of Vagharshapat, Nikol Pashinyan inspected  the gasification work being carried out in the village of Lernamerdz.  As part of the program, 2927.7 and 3047.4 linear meters of gas  pipelines were built, for which the executive branch allocated  21,956,000 drams and 45,960,000 drams, respectively.

The head of state's next stop was a kindergarten in the village of  Aytagh, where he inspected the renovation of the 540-square-meter  kindergarten and the construction of a one-story extension, both of  which are being carried out under the subsidy program. Ninety  children attend the kindergarten. The program costs 233 million  drams, 70% of which, over 163 million drams, was allocated from the  state budget.

In Metsamor, Nikol Pashinyan inspected the major renovation work at  Kindergarten No. 3 and the improvement of the surrounding area, which  were carried out as part of the subsidy program. The kindergarten is  attended by 252 children. The total cost of the project is over 514  million drams, with the government's share being 360 million drams.

The Prime Minister also inspected the renovation work underway at the  G. Kochar Secondary School in Alashkert. The school renovation was  carried out as part of the "300 Schools to Be Built, Renovated, or  Reconstructed by 2026" program, for which the government has  allocated 396,390,000 drams. The renovated school in Alashkert is  designed for 263 students.

Nikol Pashinyan then visited Kindergarten No. 2 in the city of  Armavir. The kindergarten building was reconstructed under a  subsidized program. The primary school has 65 students. The total  cost of the project was over 281 million drams, 70% of which, 197  million drams, was allocated by the government.

The head of state was presented with the results of the renovation  work at V. Bakhshyan Primary School No. 2 in Armavir. The school is  included in the government's program "300 schools to be built,  renovated, or reconstructed by 2026." The government has allocated  272,270,000 drams for the program. The renovated school in the  village of Armavir is designed for 607 students.

In the Baghramyan community, the prime minister familiarized himself  with the investment program for the creation of a 311-hectare walnut  orchard. It was noted that 45,000 seedlings have been planted to  date, with plans to increase this number to 90,000. The total cost of  the investment program exceeds 5 billion drams. As part of the state  program to support the development of intensive horticulture, the  introduction of modern technologies, and the promotion of  non-traditional high-yield crop production for 2023-2025, the company  was awarded over 76 million drams for the construction of a  watershed. The company's majority shareholder is the non-public  contractual investment fund Green Invest, one of whose main investors  is the international investment company Capitalgate Fund Limited.

Nikol Pashinyan also familiarized himself with the investment program  for the establishment of an intensive peach and nectarine orchard in  Baghramyan, covering an area of 182.74 hectares. As part of the  program, 344,520 seedlings have been planted. The total cost of the  project exceeds 7 billion drams. The Family Garden LLC, which is  implementing an investment program, has received over 187 million  drams in compensation under the Infrastructure for Investments  program. As part of the state program to support the development of  intensive gardening in the Republic of Armenia, the introduction of  modern technologies, and the promotion of the production of  non-traditional high-yield crops, a full 14% interest rate subsidy is  being implemented.
