ArmInfo. During the Armenian delegation's visit to Moscow, an agreement was reached on the Bolshoi Theater's assistance in developing Armenian ballet. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at a government meeting on April 2.
He stated that, at the current rate of development, Armenian ballet would need 300 years to reach the level of the Bolshoi Theater. The Prime Minister noted that such an opportunity should never be rejected.
"There's no need to be ashamed, and if necessary, we should go and ask for assistance. It's important to leverage the best practices of leading centers, ensuring their accessibility. This way, in the context of bilateral relations, we can also resolve this issue," said Nikol Pashinyan, adding that while things are going well in Armenia's ballet scene today, the existing potential, be it in ballet, theater, or concerts, needs to be developed. He called on government members to step out of their comfort zone, where they spend their time praising their achievements.
Recall that the previous day, an Armenian delegation, led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, visited the Russian Federation. During the visit, the Prime Minister met with Russian President Vladimir Putin. -
