"I want to assure you of our support for Armenia and our readiness to contribute to the success of these 10th Games of Francophonie, which will fully meet the expectations of French-speaking youth, as well as participating states and governments," the Director of the International Committee of the Games of Francophonie noted.

"It's noteworthy that for the first time in the history of these Games, they will be held in a country where French is not an official language, which once again underscores the open and inclusive nature of the Francophonie. I would like to emphasize another feature: the official opening ceremony of the Francophonie Games in Yerevan will not take place in a stadium, as before, but in an open space, in the very center of Yerevan, at Republic Square, which, we are confident, will breathe new life and special meaning into this grand event. All of Yerevan will participate in this opening ceremony," the Prime Minister's Chief of Staff concluded.
