


ArmInfo.According to a statement from the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, as of the morning of February 2, roads in Armenia are mostly passable.
The statement notes that the roads leading from the Amberd high-mountain meteorological station in the Aragatsotn region to the Amberd fortress and Lake Kari are closed. A blizzard is raging at the Vardenyats Pass, making it difficult for vehicles with trailers. Blizzards are also observed on the Jamshlu-Tsilkar and Kuchak-Aparan roads. Icy conditions are present in places on roads in the Shirak and Armavir regions. According to information received from the Department of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the North Ossetian Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed to trucks.
