
ArmInfo.Yerevan residents have rated the city's municipality's snow removal efforts as unsatisfactory, according to the results of a survey conducted by the consulting company MPG, "Disco Crash!"
Respondents rated the city's municipality's snow removal efforts as 3 stars, sidewalk clearing as 2.4 stars, and courtyard clearing as 2 stars. The ratings were based on a 5-point scale, with 1 being very poor and 5 being very good.
Respondents also rated the work of the mayor and heads of Yerevan's administrative districts on a 5-point scale. According to the survey, the mayor of Yerevan received 3.3 stars for his work. The heads of the Center and Malatia-Sebastia administrative districts received the highest ratings, with 3.8 points each, followed by the heads of Shengavit and Erebuni, with 3.7 points each. The head of Avan received a 3.6 rating, while the heads of Kanaker-Zeytun, Nubarashen, and Nork-Marash received 3.4 points each, and the heads of Arabkir, Davtashen, Nor-Nork, and Ajapnyak received 3.3 points each.
Furthermore, respondents were most satisfied with the work of the opposition Mother Armenia faction of the Yerevan Council of Elders. Residents rated their work 2.6 points, while the ruling Civil Contract faction received 2.4 points, the Public Voice faction 2.2 points, the National Progress faction 2.2 points, and the Republic faction 2 points. It should be noted that the survey was conducted via telephone calls to Yerevan residents between January 19 and 23 of this year. The sample size was 601, with a margin of error of +/- 3.8%.
