Armenia ranks 101st in 2026 military strength ranking according to  Global Firepower

ArmInfo.  Armenia ranks 101st in 2026 military strength ranking, compiled by the analytical portal Global Firepower, ranking between Tajikistan and Latvia. The index represents 145 countries.

The finalized Global Firepower ranking below utilizes over 60  individual factors to determine a given nation's  PowerIndex score  with  categories ranging from quantity of military units and  financial standing to logistical capabilities and geographic  location.

The top 5 countries in the global ranking of strongest armies are the  United States, Russia, China, India, and South Korea. Armenia,  however, has the lowest rating in the region. Turkey is ranked 9th,  Iran 16th, Azerbaijan 60th, and Georgia 95th. Liberia, Suriname, the  Central African Republic, Belize, and Bhutan rounded out the  rankings.
