ArmInfo. Nestle is voluntarily recalling a limited quantity of baby food products from the Armenian market. This was announced by the company on its Facebook page.
According to the source, the products in question include infant formulas containing dry, instant, and fermented milk formulas, as well as amino acid-based therapeutic dry formulas. The recall is being carried out as a precautionary measure and is part of a global voluntary recall of certain batches of Nestle infant formula due to stricter quality control measures for raw materials received from an external supplier and the detection of cereulide toxin in these raw materials. Despite the minimal content of this component and the lack of standards for cereulide toxin in Armenia, Nestle, together with its partners, has initiated a voluntary recall of limited batches of infant formula as a precautionary measure to mitigate potential risks. Consumers who purchased products from these batches can return them through the methods approved by Nestle.
The recall does not apply to products from other batches or to any other baby food products sold by Nestle in Armenia.
