


ArmInfo. The Yerevan Ambulance Service's fleet has been expanded with seven new, modern, and fully equipped ambulances, six of which are regular ambulances and one is an intensive care unit. Accompanied by Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan and Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan inspected the investments and implemented reforms.
According to the Prime Minister's press service, the new vehicles are equipped with modern medical equipment and allow emergency medical personnel to respond to emergencies more quickly and effectively, improving the quality of services provided to the public. It was emphasized that an additional 7- 10 vehicles are planned for purchase in 2026 to gradually and completely upgrade the fleet and ensure the stable and uninterrupted operation of the service.
During the visit, Nikol Pashinyan was also briefed on the call center's operations. It was noted that digitalization efforts are underway. Specifically, call recording is carried out using tablets, an identification system has been implemented, and electronic patient registration is underway.
As part of the modernization of the 1-03 service, the number of missed calls has been reduced to zero thanks to call recording and monitoring. It was emphasized that the system handles calls received not only in Yerevan but throughout the Republic of Armenia to the 1-03 number, ensuring their centralized coordination.
