Primate of Shirak Diocese taken to  Izmirlian Medical Center -   archbishop`s legal team

ArmInfo.  Archbishop Mikael Ajapahyan,  head of the Shirak Diocese of the Armenian  Apostolic Church (AAC),  who was sentenced by Armenian authorities to  two years in prison, has been taken to Izmirlian Medical Center.

According to a statement posted by Ajapahyan's legal team on their  Facebook page, the head of the Shirak Diocese is currently undergoing  a medical examination.
