


ArmInfo. Catholicos Aram I of the Great House of Cilicia participated in the events of Pope Leo XIV's visit to Lebanon.
According to a statement from the House of Cilicia, the Pope's visit to Lebanon lasted three days (from November 30 to December 2, 2025). Aram I was present at the presidential palace, where the Pope was officially received by Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun.
The Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia, along with seven other Patriarchs, attended an official dinner with the Pope, followed by a meeting of Christian and Muslim community leaders in Martyrs' Square in Beirut, with the participation of Leo XIV.
During this meeting, the Catholicos emphasized the importance of the communities in Lebanon, which constitutes the unique identity of this country. Aram I also attended the Holy and Immortal Liturgy celebrated by the Pope.
