ArmInfo. Armenia is experiencing a noticeable increase in seasonal viruses. RA Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan wrote about this on her Facebook page.
According to her, influenza A(H3N2) viruses are circulating, with symptoms including high fever (39- 40+C), cough, runny nose, and myalgia.
Rhinoviruses, bocaviruses, adenoviruses, and parainfluenza viruses are also circulating.
The minister noted that during the acute infection season, a "pandemic filter" has been introduced in preschools and schools in conjunction with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports. If this threshold is exceeded, education will be transferred to a remote format. "The best way to prevent flu is by getting vaccinated, which reduces the risk of illness and alleviates the severity of the illness and its complications. Get vaccinated today to protect yourself and those around you," wrote Anait Avanesyan.
