


ArmInfo.The international conference "Cultural Crossroads" dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions will be held in Yerevan from November 27 to 28.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport, delegations from more than ten countries, as well as representatives of UNESCO and other international organizations, will arrive in Yerevan to participate in the conference. Following the official opening, a plenary session on the "UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions: Achievements and Prospects after 20 Years" will be held at the Mesrop Mashtots Research Institute of Ancient Manuscripts (Matenadaran). The conference program also features plenary discussions on creative industries, the diversity of cultural expressions in the digital age, and other topics.
According to the source, a memorandum of understanding will be signed between the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia and the Swedish Grants Committee.
