ArmInfo. Yerevan criminal police officers discovered illegally stored weapons, ammunition, and narcotics, detaining 29 people. This was reported by the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
As part of crime prevention efforts, police continue to identify and seize illegally stored weapons and ammunition. Specifically, based on intelligence received, searches were conducted at 47 addresses and nine vehicles. Pistols, ammunition, and narcotics (cocaine, marijuana, and methadone) were discovered. Twenty-nine people were detained and taken to pretrial detention. The preliminary investigation is ongoing.
