Armenian Foreign Minister, UN Official discuss promoting women`s  leadership 

ArmInfo.  During his working visit Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Sima Bahous, the Executive Director of UN Women (UN  Entity for Gender Equality and Empowerment of Women).

According to the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the  interlocutors discussed issues related to promoting women's  leadership, also touching upon the steps taken by Armenia in this  direction.

Both sides emphasized the important role of women in the processes of  reconciliation and strengthening peace between societies in  post-conflict conditions.
