Pakistani official: Pakistan intends to join the EAEU

ArmInfo.  Pakistan intends to join the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and is already conducting preparatory work on this issue. This was stated by Pakistani Deputy Commerce Minister Nasir Hamid.

"At the moment, we are not yet negotiating with the EAEU. But we are  doing preparatory work and studying the possibilities for ourselves,"  he said.

In this context, the deputy minister emphasized that the Pakistani  side "recently established diplomatic contact with Armenia." "So we  are still discussing this issue. And as soon as a decision is made,  we will be ready for rapprochement with the EAEU," Hamid added, TASS  reports.
