Armenia, UK discuss situation in  South Caucasus

ArmInfo.  Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan held a working breakfast with the Minister of State for Europe, North America and  Overseas Territories, Stephen Doughty, in Dilijan.

According to the press service of the Security Council of Armenia,  Grigoryan presented the agreements reached in Washington regarding  the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as  well as the unblocking of regional communications and the economic  opportunities provided by the implementation of the Crossroads of  Peace project. Doughty, in turn, expressed his support for the  agreements reached in Washington and emphasized the importance of  establishing lasting peace in the South Caucasus.

The parties also discussed the agenda of bilateral relations between  Armenia and the EU, outlining ways for further cooperation. The  interlocutors also expressed satisfaction with the high dynamics of  development of relations aimed at strategic partnership.
