Charity concert "Children for Children"  held at Tashir Arena

At the initiative of Samvel Karapetyan,  president of the Tashir Charitable Foundation,  a charity concert called "Children for Children" was held at Tashir Arena (the renovated building of the Yerevan Circus). The event took  place as part of the unofficial opening of the circus and to  celebrate Samvel Karapetyan's 60th anniversary, who is currently in  custody.  The head of the Foundation decided to dedicate his  anniversary to children, organizing a holiday for those in need of  warmth and care. 

At his request, the doors of Tashir Arena opened for one evening to  welcome  more than 1,200 children from all over Armenia, including  those from large families, families from Artsakh, as well as children  of heroes who sacrificed their lives for their homeland and suffered  as a result of military operations. It is worth noting that children  performed at the new Arena for Children. The concert program features  musical and dance performances, circus arts and other creative  displays, creating an atmosphere of true celebration and unity. 

Note that in 2011, Samvel Karapetyan announced his intention to  invest in the circus's reconstruction program, committing about $10  million. By 2025, the total  investment volume had reached about $18  million.
