ArmInfo. The leader of the protest movement "Sacred Struggle", Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, who is currently under arrest, has addressed several questions to the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, Anna Vardapetyan. In his letter, the text of which was distributed by the movement, the archbishop called for his appeal to be considered an open letter to the Prosecutor General, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee and the competent structures of the law enforcement system.
"About a month ago, I insisted that the full version of the recording from the famous tape be publicized. You made the wrong call. Moreover, you claimed that they were not edited and were not falsified. Now that the preliminary investigation has been completed (Surprise! The preliminary investigation into the terrorism of the century will be completed in a month), my lawyer Hovhannes Khudoyan has reviewed the evidence. The picture is crystal clear and unambiguous: the so-called recording is a fake, edited, taken out of context and has absolutely nothing to do with the propaganda and accusations brought by you and the hooligan group "Civil Contract". Now a direct question to you, Madam Prosecutor General: do you admit that all these statements are fake? Are you ready to at least publicly or personally apologize and repent for your incompetent behavior, which I would describe as politicized and ordered, that you demonstrated both in parliament, on state television, and in the media? So that this does not come as a surprise to you, I want to inform you: I know you will not answer my questions. In any case, we will take all possible legal measures to bring the organizers of this disgrace to justice. Victory has no alternative," the archbishop's letter says.
