


ArmInfo. Sati Hayrapetyan, a 12th-grade student of the Quantum Gymnasium, who represented Armenia at the 21st International Geography Olympiad in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, won a silver medal.
As ArmInfo was informed by the press service of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports (MECS) of Armenia, the Olympiad was held from July 26 to August 1 in three stages and included theoretical tasks, field research and multimedia tasks. A total of 179 students from 47 countries took part in the Olympiad, 4 participants from each country.
According to the source, the Armenian team was also represented by 12th grade students of the Quantum Gymnasium Nare Poghosyan and Hayk Antonyan and 12th grade student of the Ayb School Vahagn Aloyan, and was led by Vardan Asatryan (NAS RA, Quantum Gymnasium) and Gor Aleksanyan (YSU).
