


ArmInfo. Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan left for a three-day working visit to Syunik region.
As reported by the press service of the president, within the framework of the visit, Khachaturyan held a meeting with the participation of the Governor of Syunik region Robert Ghukasyan, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan, representatives of law enforcement agencies and heads of communities of the region.
During the meeting, the Governor of Syunik region spoke about the progress of the implementation of sectoral programs in the region, the results achieved and the existing problems, as well as the measures taken to solve them. Khudatyan presented the programs and projects initiated and implemented by the government in Syunik region.
The President of the Republic inquired from the participants of the meeting about the general situation in the region, including the socio-psychological situation, which was discussed by representatives of law enforcement agencies and heads of communities.
At the end of the consultations, Khachaturyan answered questions from representatives of regional authorities, touching on the priorities of the country's domestic and foreign policy.
