


ArmInfo. The Prime Minister of Armenia and the President of Azerbaijan met in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates), on July 10, 2025, and discussed different aspects of Armenia-Azerbaijan interstate normalization agenda, as reported by the press service of the Armenian MFA.
The Ministry noted that it was confirmed that bilateral negotiations represent the most efficient format to address all issues concerning the normalization process, and on this basis, it was agreed to continue such result-oriented dialogue.The leaders, taking stock of the progress made with respect to border delimitation process, instructed the relevant state commissions to continue practical work in this regard. The sides also agreed to continue bilateral negotiations and confidence-building measures between the two countries.
It is worth noting that Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Mnatsakan Safaryan mentioned in a conversation with Radio Liberty that he did not rule out the possibility of transferring the management of the road through Syunik to Armenia to a foreign company. Earlier, the media had reported that the road could be managed by representatives of American private security companies.
