ArmInfo. The occupation regime of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev continues to destroy the property of Artsakh residents in Stepanakert.
As former Artsakh Minister of Culture Sergey Shahverdyan said, another quarter of Stepanakert has been razed to the ground by the occupation Azerbaijani administration in the capital of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
"6 multi-story residential buildings built in the 1960s, as well as at least 25 public buildings with a total area of 1.3 hectares, were bulldozed on Artur Mkrtchyan Street. It is not known when they were demolished, but video information about this appeared in the Azerbaijani segment of social networks on July 6. So far, large-scale demolitions of residential buildings in Stepanakert are known in 6 historical neighborhoods - 6.5 hectares and in the neighborhoods adjacent to the territory of the Artsakh State University and Freedom Square (ring) - 5.7 hectares. The occupation administration is also carrying out targeted demolitions of residential buildings and public buildings in various neighborhoods of Stepanakert. To date, the area of massively demolished buildings is at least 14 hectares," he said.
