For U.S., Israel, Iran`s blame is its very existence - Russian MP

Israel attacked Iran. The third day of the war, which threatens to turn nuclear, wrote Konstantin Zatulin, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on the Commonwealth of Independent States, Eurasian Integration, and Relations with Compatriots, in his Telegram channel.

"It is obvious once again that in politics they go too  far when they are not fully aware of what this will lead to. Or, like  with Netanyahu, thinking only of themselves, they are trying to  dissolve their own inglorious operation in Gaza, raising a wave of a  worldwide flood. America looks like a dog whose tail is wagging.  Having given the go-ahead to Israel, Trump on the third day tries to  crawl away, but at the same time does not stop presenting Israeli  attacks as an acceptable means of forcing a deal and peace. Except  for the walking joke of Macron, no one is able to believe in this,"  the politician noted.

At the same time, the Russian MP emphasized that he never had any  doubts that for Israel, the United States, and their obvious or  hidden well-wishers, Iran is guilty simply because it exists.  According to Zatulin, Israel dealt a fatal blow to those in Iran who  believed that an agreement could be reached.

"Of course, there are such people, but now, one can say, "were." The politician considers it curious how Russia's friend, ally, and  strategic partner Azerbaijan will behave as the situation develops.  "For now, moderation has prevailed - Azerbaijani Foreign Minister  Bayramov assured his Iranian counterpart that "the use of Azerbaijani  territory by any country against a third country, including Iran, is  impossible." It's hard to believe. Most likely, in addition to the  obvious military risk, Turkey is holding Azerbaijan back from trying  to profit at Iran's expense, not wanting Israel to win," Zatulin  believes.

Touching upon Iran's position, the MP noted that the talkative Nikol  Pashinyan would probably like to keep his mouth shut when it comes to  assessing what is happening. "But having happened these days at a  conference in the Czech Republic, in the kind West, he was forced to  squeeze out a few words of condemnation. Don't flatter yourself:

Pashinyan is making a deal with Aliyev under the patronage of the  West and the United States. And he has no time for Iran, which, in  fact, was almost the only one that resisted the attempts of Turkey  and Azerbaijan to break through Armenia into a corridor to each  other," he noted.

At the same time, the politician believes that Putin would not be  Putin if he did not try to correct the situation, which is developing  in a direction that is dangerous for Russia.
