


ArmInfo. During their visit to the office of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church (AAC), MEPs Nicolas Bey and Nicolas Metzdorff from New Caledonia expressed their readiness to raise the voice of Artsakh in all European forums.
As reported by the press service of the Artsakh Diocese of the AAC, the MEPs were received by the head of the Diocesan Council of the Artsakh Diocese Lernik Hovhannisyan and member of the council Karen Mirzoyan. Hovhannisyan presented the mission and current programs of the diocese, which are aimed at providing spiritual and psychological support to Armenians living in Artsakh.
On April 17, the MEPs also held a meeting with the Council for the Protection of the Human Rights of the People of Artsakh, where they expressed support for efforts to protect the rights of the forcibly displaced population of Artsakh. Bey and Metzdorf stressed the importance of holding Azerbaijan accountable for international crimes and reaffirmed their commitment to expanding support for the restoration of the rights of the people of Artsakh.
