Armenia`s military police sum up 2024

ArmInfo. The Military Police of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia summed up the results of its activities for 2024.

As reported by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, during 2024, military police officers conducted 6,842 preventive measures and surprise inspections in military units and combat units, as a result of which mobile phones such as smartphones and other prohibited items and accessories were discovered.

As a result of the operational data received by the relevant units of the Republic of Armenia and the measures taken, cases were identified for which criminal cases were initiated. As a result of operational search measures and explanatory work carried out by the Special Operations Command of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, various types of weapons and ammunition were discovered, in particular: machine guns, rifles and pistols.

The Military Police of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of  Armenia held 298 events on the territory of garrisons under the motto "Perfection-2024", during which various types of disciplinary violations were identified. In addition, as a result of the round-the-clock work of the Military Road Inspectorate of the Military Police, violations of traffic rules were identified.

"The Military Police of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia calls for compliance with the norms of military behavior and be guided by the relevant laws, regulations and orders," the statement says.
