Armenians to suffer same fate as Jews if they don`t come to their  senses and stop giving away their lands - expert

ArmInfo.Armenia as of today is not in the right geopolitical situation to be inspired by imaginary  help from the West, no matter what amounts we are talking about.

Management specialist and famous economist Harutyun Mesrobyan shares  a similar opinion.  Thus, when asked by the <168 Zham> to estimate  the 270 million euros of aid that the EU promised to provide to  Armenia, Mesrobyan expressed the conviction that even if this amount  were ten times larger, it would still mean nothing. In his opinion,  it is enough to read the conditions under which this money is  provided to Armenia in order to understand how harmful it is for  Armenian statehood.

"Armenia today is put on the sacrificial altar. I would like to  remind you that Armenia was also placed on the sacrificial altar at  the end of the 19th century, when the same Europe turned a blind eye  to the massacre committed by Abdul Hamid. Then we lost the  predominant territory of our residence. Today we " witnessed the loss  of Artsakh, and this was 100% our fault, and now we are already  losing the last remaining island. We will close the last chapter of  our history, we will cease to exist in this region, if we do not come  to our senses," Mesrobyan said.

At the same time, the expert explains the current increased interest  of the West in Armenia by the fact that in 2018, the Collective West  had a unique chance to tear Armenia away from Russia in every sense  of the word, thereby increasing the isolation of Russia, tightening  the ring around it.

However, according to him, the West is not learning lessons from its  own history, missing a very important point. "History shows how  attempts to get a Russian bear out of its den end for the West. As  they say, there are a thousand ways to get the Russian bear out of  the den, but there is no one to force him back there. This is what  history shows. Do they want the Russians to reach Lisbon again?  Please!" he said.  Reacting to the narrative that developments around  Ukraine have weakened Russia, and the Prime Minister of Armenia is  doing the right thing by taking advantage of the opportunity to turn  to the West, Mesrobyan ironically stated that in Europe they have  been trying to bury Russia for almost 500 years, but in vain. "We  need to learn lessons from history. Berlin and Paris once became  acquainted with the Russian boot. If today someone in Warsaw and  another European capital wants to repeat it, then please. Do these  people not understand what it means to defeat a nuclear superpower?",  Mesrobyan further asked.

According to him, even the sanctions of over 50 states that took up  arms against Russia could not break its economy, which is showing  phenomenal indicators. He recalled that any idle talk has a  counter-argument in the form of history, including the latest. "Look  at what is happening today. Russia is slowly strangling Ukraine.  Russia has only gained so much in the production of defense products  that all these 50 countries cannot catch up with it. Look, today  there are interesting trends in the world - the West is becoming more  and more uncompetitive, and the East is becoming more and more  competitive. If in the next 10-12 years the West does not wise up and  change its foreign policy vector, Europe will fall first, and then  ..," the management specialist is sure.

Speaking about the situation in the South Caucasus, Mesrobyan  recalled that when the Ottoman Empire was collapsing, the  Anglo-Saxons developed and put forward a geopolitical project to  create Greater Turan.  He added that over the last 4-5 centuries, all  the efforts of the Anglo-Saxons were aimed at isolating Russia - at  any cost. "Great Turan is a project for the virtual recreation of the  Ottoman Empire, which will cover the territories of Central Asia to  China. This project is contrary to the interests of China and India,  including. Everyone is already beginning to realize this, everyone  except us. We continue to live in ignorance. Today, Turkey wants to  sit on two chairs - to maintain relations with Russia and with the  West.  And so far it has successfully succeeded in this in the  context of the impending third world war," he noted.  At the same  time, he noticed with amazement that even such an imperial country as  Turkey is trying in every possible way to avoid confrontation, and  "the smart guys in Yerevan consider themselves omnipotent."

Regarding criticism of Russia and accusations of failure to fulfill  its allied obligations to Armenia, Mesrobyan proposed returning to  2018 and analyzing the actions of the newly created velvet  authorities of the Republic of Armenia. "The new authorities of  Armenia have opened a criminal case against the CSTO Secretary  General Yuri Khachaturov. The Secretary General of the Organization  from which we today demand actions. Just imagine that Turkey is  starting a criminal trial against NATO Secretary General Jens  Stoltenberg. What will the United States do with Turkey? Yes it will  simply tear it apart," the expert noted, calling at the same time not  to cling to diplomatic formulations and empty promises given to  Armenia, but to act, including by drawing lessons from our own  history.

He called the actions of today's authorities of Armenia, representing  the entire Armenian people, which has a history of more than 50  centuries, shameful. Mesrobyan believes that Armenia today in the  eyes of Russia is an unreliable partner, and being an unreliable  partner for the empire simply means disappearing from the world map  in one day.

Speaking about the promises coming from Great Britain, the expert  recalled the words of the British Prime Minister 100 years ago, "the  English fleet will never rise to the Armenian Highlands." According  to him, everywhere we need to proceed from actions, not empty words.  Mesrobyan is confident that the West is one of the beneficiaries of  the surrender of territories to Armenia. He once again emphasized  that the Greater Turan project is an Anglo-Saxon initiative. "And  Greater Turan excludes the presence of Armenia in this region. We  will suffer the fate of the Jews who lost their state. Only we are  not Jews, in three generations we will assimilate and disappear.  There is a saying: "Turks love the land, and Armenians love money."  Everyone gets what loves. We live on 5-7% of all our historical  territories, and if we continue to give away our lands and not fight  for them, we will repeat the fate of the Jews in the Roman Empire in  the second century AD," the expert believes.

In conclusion, Mesrobyan accused the Armenian intelligentsia and  opposition of inaction in the current complex geopolitical realities,  and the Armenian authorities of aiding the enemy who is implementing  the Great Turan project.
