Armenian Ambassador, CSTO PA representative discuss situation  resulting from Azeri aggression against sovereign territories of RA

ArmInfo.Ambassador of Armenia to Russia Vagharshak Harutyunyan met with Executive Secretary of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty  Organization (CSTO) Sergei Pospelov.

According to the press service of the RA Embassy in the Russian  Federation, during the meeting Pospelov spoke about the activities of  the CSTO PA and thanked the Armenian side for effective cooperation.  In turn, Ambassador Harutyunyan stressed the importance of  interaction within the CSTO PA.

Harutyunyan presented to the interlocutor the situation that has  developed in the region as a result of the September aggression of  the Azerbaijani side against the sovereign territory of the Republic  of Armenia, and also stressed the importance of presenting a proper  assessment by  regional and international organizations regarding  these actions.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on the prospects for further  deepening of inter-parliamentary ties within the organization.
