MES: Yerevan Metro resumed its work

ArmInfo.Reports of explosive devices at the Zvartnots airport and all stations of the Yerevan Metro after Karen Demirchyan were false. This is stated in the  message of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of  Armenia.  The Ministry recalled that, "On August 16 information was  received to Crisis Management National Center that explosive devices  had been planted in all of the stations of the Metro and "Zvartnots"  International Airport.

The canine unit of the Center for Carrying out Activities of Special  Importance of the Rescue Forces Department and the engineering and  sapper unit of Collective Center of the Civil Protection Forces of  the Civil Protection Department of the Rescue Service of the MES of  RA dispatched to the scene.

As of 10:30 the subway operations were stopped, employees and  passengers were evacuated.

As a result of the inspection by the canine and engineering and  sapper units of the MES and the Police no explosive devices were  found in 10 stations of the Metro of Yerevan city and "Zvartnots"  International Airport.  As of 15?00 Yerevan Metro resumed its work in  regular mode."
