US Embassy in Armenia: Ambassadorial nominations are publicly  announced by the White House

ArmInfo.Ambassadorial nominations are publicly announced by the White House. Please refer to the White House with questions about the nomination process. This  was reported to ArmInfo in the US Embassy in Armenia, about the  likelihood of appointing Deputy Head of Mission of the US Embassy in  Ukraine Alan Purcell as a new ambassador to the Republic of Armenia.

" Ms. Lynne M. Tracy is the U.S. Ambassador to Armenia, and, as all  U.S. ambassadors, serves at the pleasure of the President of the  United States. Ambassadorial nominations are publicly announced by  the White House. Please refer to the White House with questions about  the nomination process," the US embassy in RA informs.

It should be noted that earlier the information was disseminated in  the Armenian media that US Ambassador to Armenia Lynne Tracy  completed her diplomatic mission in our country and would leave the  republic in about two months.

It was also reported that Tracy would be replaced by Deputy Chief of  Mission of the US Embassy in Ukraine Alan Purcell.

Tracy headed the US embassies in Armenia since 2019. She arrived in  Yerevan on February 27, 2019. She replaced Richard Mills in this  post.
