ArmInfo.As of 5:00pm, the situation in the eastern section of Armenia`s border remained extremely tense.
"Intense fights are continuing. The enemy goes on using artillery, armored vehicles and firearms of different calibers. As a result of the Armenian side`s reciprocal actions, the enemy is suffering great personnel losses. Abut a dozen armored vehicles have been destroyed or damaged. The Armenian side reports losses as well. The information is being verified.
"Twelve Armenian servicemen - 7 contracts servicemen and five conscripts - have been captured. The Defense Ministry will continue reporting on the situation," the statement reads.
