


ArmInfo. As of August 22, 239,342 people were vaccinated against coronavirus in Armenia. As stated on the official Facebook page of the Ministry of Health, out of the total number of vaccinated citizens, the first component of the vaccine was received by 153,888 citizens, and, accordingly, the second - 85,454.
The Ministry of Health reminds that today Russian-made drugs (Sputnik V), British-Swedish (AstraZeneca) and Chinese (Koronavak and Sinopharm) are available in Armenia without any restrictions. Foreign citizens can also be vaccinated in Armenia. Vaccinations are carried out (free of charge) daily in primary health care organizations, and on weekends a special work schedule is established - from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
To recall, earlier the head of the RA Ministry of Health Anahit Avanesyan reported that by the end of 2021 it is planned to vaccinate 20% of the population of Armenia. Note that asof 11:00am on August 23, in total, 237,885 cases of coronavirus infection (15.9%) were detected in the Republic, 224,493 people (94.3%) recovered, and 4,762 (2%) died. ... Since the outbreak of the pandemic, 1,489,110 coronavirus tests have been carried out in Armenia.
