ArmInfo. The Ministry of Internal Affairs will be created in Armenia. On April 15, the RA Government approved amendments to the RA Law "On the Structure and Activities of the Government" and related laws.
According to the justification certificate attached to the document, the RA Police, the Migration and Citizenship Service, as well as the educational center under the Police will be subordinate to the Ministry. The right to appoint and dismiss the heads of these departments, with the exception of the head of the Police Forces, will be assigned to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, at the suggestion of the Minister. The Head of the Police and his deputies, as well as the head of the internal troops, will be appointed and dismissed by the President of the Republic of Armenia, on the proposal of the Prime Minister, who, in turn, will be guided by the proposal of the Minister.
