Armenian authorities congratulate Emmanuel Macron on French National  Day

ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent congratulations to French President Emmanuel Macron on the occasion of the French National Day. This was reported by the press service of the Government of Armenia.

<On behalf of the Armenian people and I personally cordially  congratulate you and the friendly people of the French Republic on  the occasion of the National Holiday.

Thanks to the victory of the freedom-loving and revolutionary spirit  of the French people, at the center of the historical development of  Europe were laid the civilizational values of human rights, the equal  rights of citizens and education.

Today, we are proud to note the existence of a privileged dialogue  between Armenia and France at a high level, which is based on  centuries-old Armenian-French historical and cultural ties and common  values.  Today, when the world has become unpredictable and full of  challenges, we reaffirm our full readiness to continue expanding and  deepening cooperation between Armenia and France both at the  bilateral and multilateral levels.

Armenia highly appreciates France's constructive and balanced  mediation involvement in the Nagorno- Karabakh conflict settlement  process in the format of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair, as a  guarantee of regional peace, stability and development, "the source  said.

In conclusion, the Prime Minister of Armenia wished President Macron  good health and inexhaustible energy, and the friendly people of  France well-being and new achievements.

On the occasion of the National Day of France, Armenian President  Armen Sargsyan sent a congratulation to Emmanuel Macron.

In particular, in his message, the head of state emphasized that  Armenia and France were able to establish effective cooperation in  almost all areas of mutual interest. <Armenia is interested in  expanding and deepening mutually beneficial cooperation with France  through new initiatives and programs for the benefit of our countries  and peoples. I am sure that by joint efforts we will replenish the  bilateral agenda with programs aimed at the future and representing  mutual interest>, noted Armen Sargsyan.

At the same time, he emphasized that Armenia appreciates the  consistent efforts of France to peacefully resolve the  Nagorno-Karabakh issue, as well as to establish long-term peace in  the South Caucasus region.  At the same time, the President of  Armenia noted that France's efforts to save lives and mitigate the  effects of the pandemic are worthy of special appreciation. "I  express my deep gratitude to you, the government and the friendly  people of France for their contribution to the financial assistance  of the European Union, as well as for the delegation of the French  medical mission group to Armenia to help Armenian colleagues," the  message says.
