Parliamentarian: Wealth and gilding will not return the status of an  oligarch 

ArmInfo. The recent demands of  "Prosperous Armenia" and other political forces for the resignation  of the government, calls for consolidation, look ridiculously  logical, a lawmaker of the parliamentary faction <My Step> Sos  Avetisyan expressed such an opinion to ArmInfo.

''All these people somehow have to maintain their own political  existence. Meanwhile, their understanding is that they are the ones  who should rule in Armenia. Otherwise, they simply do not need  Armenia. I can't say with whom and how they are going to consolidate,  but the fact is that they all need to get united somehow. Moreover,  the fact that the head of the PAP Tsarukyan and people like him used  political capital to enrich themselves, and vice versa, still needs  to be proved>, he said.

At the same time, the parliamentarian recalled that Tsarukyan's  representation in the parliament didn't affect the presentation of  charges against Sedrak Arustamyan, the director of Tsarukyan's Multi  Group concern, for money laundering, bribery, etc. Avetisyan assured  that a similar attitude will continue to be manifested in relation to  any political force, in general, and in relation to the ruling force,  in particular.

According to the parliamentarian, in the midst of a serious struggle  against systemic corruption, even erroneous perception by society as  an oligarch will not help anyone who violates the law. "Wealth and  even various gilded things on oneself will not return the status of  an oligarch to such a person. And, accordingly, they will not give  him the privileges of the past. We must clearly understand this and  realize that we must consider in this context all such outbursts of  indignation and appeal>, he stressed.

Commenting on the recent resignations and appointments in the power  bloc, Avetisyan ruled out the possibility of a conspiracy against the  government. According to him, the authorities cannot feel the danger  of counter-revolution and revenge from some groups. First of all, due  to the fact that its foundation is a vote of confidence expressed by  the people to the My Step faction. The latter, in turn, is a pillar  for the current government.
