Organizers of wiretapping of NSS and SIS Heads are known , but  investigation has no evidences against them

The organizers of wiretapping a telephone conversation between Director of the National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia Artur Vanetsyan and Chairman of the  Special Investigation Service (SIS) Sasun Khachatryan are known, this  was announced on November 28 in an interview with journalists by  Artur Vanetsyan.

According to him, despite the fact that there has been an approximate circle of instigators is known, but there is no actual evidence of their involvement. At the same time, Vanetsyan refrained from naming names, stating only that "everything is already  clear to everyone." At the same time, the Director of the National  Security Service once again ruled out the involvement of the special  services in wiretapping. "There are no traitors in the NSS system and  they cannot be. All the National Security Service officers support  the state's interests and are guided by these considerations in their  work," he said.

Answering the question whether Vanetsyan had in mind the previous  authorities, he suggested closing the topic, saying that the National  Security Service of Armenia is carrying out operational work. In the  course of this work, various people cooperate with the secret service  on the principles of confidentiality, whose assistance in the  investigation is invaluable. "They also receive operational  information, which, unfortunately, cannot be documented, that is, it  is impossible to collect specific data that could be passed on to  investigators. Those who did this knew that the National Security  Service would spare no effort to solve this case and they were very  well prepared not to leave any marks, "he explained.

According to the head of the National Security Service, their caution  is also indicated by the fact that the conversations were posted on  the network on September 6, but became available to wide public only  on September 11. During this period, traces of the original source  were swept up very skillfully. At the same time, the special services  know that the record was posted in Spain by hacking a user account in  youtube.  NSS is working with Spanish colleagues, however there is no  news yet.

When asked whether it would be possible for these people to be caught  and brought to justice one day, Vanetsyan answered: "Time will put  everything in its place, time will tell. At this point, I'll tell you  one thing honestly -no one could ever think that someone can make  such a step, to organize a wiretap of the conversations of the  director of the National Security Service with the head of the  Armenian SIS, moreover, publish them. " 

To recall, on September 11, a recorded telephone conversation of the  heads of the National Security Service and the Special Investigative  Service appeared in the network. Based on the fact of "wiretapping"  two cases were initiated under the articlesfull "violation of the secrecy  of correspondence, telephone conversations, postal, telegraph or  other messages" and "unlawful acquisition of computer information in  order to obtain information of particular value", as well as "abuse  of office". On October 16, in a conversation with journalists, the  head of the National Security Service, Artur Vanetsyan, stated that a  circle of customers and performers of a telephone wiretap was  established, noting only that the customer was "widely known" to the  public. According to him, they managed to listen to the conversation  due to the fact that he was roaming at that moment. In this mode, as  he pointed out, operators, in order to make a call cheaper, use  Internet services, the so-called IP telephony, which reduces the  security of the network. "I was roaming, and the Internet connection  was not protected, that is, any mediocre expert could perform  wiretapping," said Vanetsyan. In addition, he said, the conversation  in the network is the result of skillful installation. "On the  indicated day we had 10 telephone conversations." He called me 8  times, I called him twice. We had more than one conversation with  him,and none of them lasted 8 minutes and 40 seconds. Our longest  conversation lasted 2.5 minutes, these conversations are fully  assembled and presented as one conversation, "said Vanetsyam.
