Lawyers of Ara Minasyan reacted to the statement of Sonna Truzyan on  the part of evading their client from the investigation

ArmInfo.Lawyers of the former director of the Surb Grigor Lusavorich medical center,  Professor Ara Minasyan, members of the Chamber of Lawyers Hayk  Sargsyan and Tigran Ghazaryan made an explanation in connection with  the statements made by the adviser to the head of the Investigative  Committee Sona Truzyan.

Thus, in the statement of Minasyan's lawyers, received by ArmIfno, it  is noted that Ara Minasyan was never invited as a defendant in the  criminal case of embezzlement at the Surb Grigor Lusavorich medical  center, which is in production of the RA Investigation Committee.  According to them, he did not receive such notice either by mail, or  from the police, or through lawyers. "This circumstance confirms the  statement of the UK on November 2 about the involvement of the former  director of the medical center as an accused, and at the same time he  was put on the wanted list and a petition for arrest was filed with  the court. It is not clear how the head of the prosecution was given  to ensure proper notification of Professor Minasyan Moreover, under  these conditions it is not clear that information was spread on how  this body tried to inform Professor Minasyan for 20 days, despite the  fact that the decision was made only on November 2, "stated WOCAT.

At the same time, they noticed that on November 1, Professor Minasyan  was invited to speak as a witness, and his representative said that  he was unable to contact the professor.

The defense of Minasian also stated that she would take all necessary  measures to invalidate the decision to declare their client on the  wanted list.

Note that Truzyan earlier told the media that Ara Minasyan was  notified of his participation in the necessary investigative  measures. "The notice was sent by mail, through police officers and a  lawyer authorized by Minasyan. Time was given, but Minasyan did not  appear. These facts allow us to state that he is evading the  investigation," the adviser said.

On the eve, the court of general jurisdiction rejected the petition  of the investigative body to arrest Minasyan due to insufficient  grounds. Recall that the CS director of the medical center "Grigor  Lusavorich" Ara Minasyan is accused of abuse, a search was announced  against him. According to the materials of the case, the ex-director,  in collusion with other employees of the medical center, by  falsifying documents, appropriated an amount of 426.343.650 drams,  which was allocated from the budget to the medical center as part of  the social insurance program for employees of state structures and  institutions. Minasian was charged under paragraph 1 of part 3 of  article 178 of the RA Criminal Code, as well as part 2 of article 325  of the RA Criminal Code. Minasyan, according to the SC, is hiding  from the investigation, his location is not known.  In his respect  declared a search. The investigation submitted a petition to the  court for election in respect of Minasyan as a measure of restraint  of arrest. The investigation continues. It should be noted that Ara  Minasyan is the father of the son-in-law of the third Armenian  President Serzh Sargsyan Mikael Minasyan, who was recalled from the  post of RA Ambassador to the Vatican, Portugal and Malta.
