ArmInfo. The image of Belarus in the world  is an image of stability and predictability,  Armenian President Armen Sarkissian said on October 30 at a meeting  with the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, BelTA  correspondent reports.

Referring to the meeting of the main group of the Munich Security  Conference in Minsk, Armen Sarkissian noted that the Belarusian  capital was chosen for this event not by chance. "Your country is  unique now.  The image of Belarus today is an image of stability and  predictability. In the new world in which we live, these qualities  are very rarely seen. Not only regions, but the world has become  unpredictable, unstable," stated the President of Armenia. According  to him, today in the world, countries are valued, which have absorbed  these two qualities - stability and predictability. "It is highly  appreciated by me, by many friends of Belarus and the world  community," Armen Sarkissian added.  He also thanked Alexander  Lukashenko for his support and friendly attitude towards Armenia  during the April events, when a change of power occurred in the  country. "I, as President and as a person, will never forget the  attention I received from you. Your calls were not just diplomatic or  political; they were calls from a friend who is not just interested,  but painful and joyful - all together. It was a great support for me  in those days when we experienced great changes in the country, "said  the head of state. The President noted that if you look at those  spring events superficially, then the power in Armenia was changed  calmly:  without excesses and human victims. "But it was still not  easy. Therefore, I really appreciate your support and I want you to  know about it", Armen Sarkissian added.
