Colonel Garik Ghukasyan to lead the Capital Police

ArmInfo. Colonel Garik  Ghukasyan will lead the Capital  Police.  As the Deputy Head of the  Public Relations Department of the RA Police Edgar Janoian told the  ArmInfo correspondent, the corresponding decree was signed today by  the head of the Armenian Police Valery Osipyan.

Earlier, Ghukasyan held the position of Deputy Chief of Police of  Yerevan for operational issues. The former chief of the Metropolitan  Police Artak Poghosyan, after a two-month tenure, by Oipian decree  left it on August 23. The Armenian Police did not explain the reasons  for Pogosyan's resignation.
