During the enlarged meeting, the two countries discussed the  prospects of developing cooperation in the transport, energy and  tourism sectors between Armenia and Georgia. In this context, the  importance of intensifying the work of the intergovernmental  commission was emphasized, and an agreement was reached to hold its  next meeting in Tbilisi in November.

Moreover, Bakhtadze emphasized the importance of active work in the  trade and economic direction with the aim of bringing the volume of  trade up to $ 1 billion and offered the Armenian prime minister to  put before his economic team the task of eliminating all obstacles on  the way to achieve the set bar.

The interlocutors touched upon regional issues, noting the importance  of a peaceful settlement of conflicts, in terms of ensuring regional  peace and stability. The sides also exchanged views on the prospects  for implementing regional energy and infrastructure projects, which  they believe will contribute to the region's economic development,  trade and stability.
