Pashinyan: Nobody  is under pressure in Armenia

This  was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in an interview with reporters ust on August 22, commenting  on the statement of RA National Assembly Speaker Ara Babloyan, who  expressed his apprehension about the development of events in the  country.

As the Head of Government noted, he intends to hold a meeting with  the Speaker to discuss the current situation. "It is important that  no one has any worries and fears, no step, no intention should be  placed above the Constitution." It is important for us that all  citizens of the country, including deputies, correctly perceive the  content of our political activities, "-  Nikol Pashinyan said.

Answering  the question whether there is the possibility of such a  variant of voting in the parliament, under which the second president  Robert Kocharian will become the Government Head, Pashinyan said that  he does not see such an option. "Remember, at the meeting with Serzh  Sargsyan, I told him that he estimates the situation incorrectly.  I  think the Republican Party continues to misread the situation.No need  to do anything, just need to communicate with people, present the  situation, help them to assess the situation There is no need to do  something extra, "  the RA Prime Minister said.

It should be reminded that earlier the Speaker of the National  Assembly of Armenia Ara Babloyan made a statement in connection with  the internal political situation in the country. In his opinion, the  natural social and political life in the country, constitutional and  legal relations and public solidarity of state authorities are under  threat. At the same time, the speaker of the National Assembly sees  dangerous tendencies in deepening intolerance in attempts to divide  society into two camps - revolutionaries and counter-  revolutionaries. "This concern has further intensified after the  Prime Minister's next statement:" I advise everyone to think before  saying something, and then they also say that we restrict their right  to freedom of speech. You still have to learn how to think before  speaking about something, then to think about your freedom of speech.  "I must admit that Pashinyan's formulation was a surprise to me,  because it is a direct violation of dissent. In parallel, threatening  judges and dissidents with the National Service Pashinyan not only  exerts pressure on the judiciary, but also on any person in the  country that has a different opinion, "Babloyan said.
