At the same time, as the second president stressed, the government should remember that it is responsible not only for Armenia, but also Artsakh and the security of the entire Armenian people. According to Kocharyan, because of all these reasons, he decided to return to politics. "No one deprived me and others of having an opinion and voicing it. What are you confused about? Can one have a dissenting opinion in this country? "- he said.

As the former president thinks, today in Armenia an attempt is made to divide the political field into black and white. "Because of this, people with dissenting position are subjected to persecution," he said.

To recall, on August 10, Armenian Prime Minister NikolPashinyan, commenting on the words of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov that the events in Armenia are contrary to the statements of the new leadership of Armenia, said that a new situation has developed in Armenia and everyone should adapt to it.
